"Conservative Military Image" I really like how a lot of the bands in the 80s and 90s hardcore scene had these kind of creative band names/album titles. The lyrics also. I remember how my brother, who was really active in his work union, would play "Soup is Good Food" at many of their gatherings to set the mood. I find many of todays bands have a lot to say in their musical composition and creativity, but not a whole lot in the lyrics department. A shame really. Also, greetings!

I absolutely agree. CMI have phenomenal energy as well. It’s great to see Wormrot as your top band for the year. I haven’t listened to them in awhile. Cheers from Kentucky 🤘🏽

Your compatibility with MJtheRevelator is Low. You both listen to Radiohead, OutKast and King Crimson. Also, loving the morning phase scrobbles! I'm a big fan of that album even if the scrobbles on this account don't show it.

You know, I used to be crazy about Beck in general and _Morning Phase_ in particular, but I haven’t listened to Beck much over the past few years. I need to dive back in to his catalogue.

I often make a “song a day” playlist each month. This month I have been doing one for The Mountain Goats. Maybe next month I will do a month of songs playlist of songs by Beck.

Listening to Grá at the moment. Not bad but nothing remarkable either. If you like your Black Metal raw and necro, you should give Huldrefolk a chance. Other Belgian bands I can recommend are Ancient Rites and Enthroned. Not really digging my country's music scene but these ones I do appreciate.

Sorry for the delay to reply. I have hit a rough patch in my life, and I need to change some of my ways. I have been finding too much happiness in a bottle and bong lately. I had a minor traffic accident last week, and it really bothered me, even though I wasn’t drunk or high, it was a gut check moment for me. It’s like how far I have come since I started this stuff. Anyway nuff about me, how’s the mole fight? Did you turn the tide on them? Damn dude, marathons! That’s great man! I’m happy for you.

Bourbon is my preference. Second is rye. Third is a good gin/vodka tonic. I don’t get terribly fancy with beer and I try to limit my beer intake because I am a distance runner. I live in Kentucky now.

byron was the first singer and is the iconic band era ,like purple mk2 with gillan as the singer.i see that your taste leans towards the more modern metal tastes so i think that wake the sleeper is more in keeping with bands like priest, maiden and at a push metallica.though the song is not really in keeping with heeps usual sound .try it ....might surprise you .cheers

Czar, in case bourbon or rye interests you. We started with New Riff 4 Year rye and finished that bottle. Then to James Pepper Rye. Now winding down with Knob Creek Quarter Oak bourbon. My buddy requested Santana, so we are jamming to their debut as some things other than the vinyl are starting to spin. Ha! Cheers!
