  Glad you enjoyed it, the playlist is short by design. I try to update it a few times a week and archive them under "Extreme Metal - 0xNNNN" due to lack of ability to come up good creative names.

  Yeah I agree I think we have similar tastes, I grew up on death metal but have finding a lot of appealing black metal releases recently. I also think death metal is having a resurgence now that bands are comfortable being "death metal" and not trying to re-invent genre but instead working inside the confines of it.

    don't know so much about death metal as i know about black metal. to be genre defying is one of the least surprising things in metal community today so perhaps you are right
