I don't think I could make Of Montreal, but I'm probably going to both Mayer Hawthorne and M. Ward. M. Ward's a birthday gift, though so it's gonna be me and my bro and I'd sort of prefer it that way just because it's been kinda designated for bonding time. It you'd like to go to Mayer Hawthorne, you're more than welcome. The only caveat on that one is that I'd probably have to meet up with a female friend of mine I know is also going just to be polite.

If you're serious, so am I. I'll be documenting it for the board, of course, but serious nonetheless. Just let me know of any shows you'd dig on that I might. And don't trust any info from my last.fm, most is pre-/mu/ from a year and a half back. Hopefully this is the start of some horribly awkward hangout.

Average/good pop album. Few standout tracks such as Summer Time Sadness and Without You. The previous released songs (Video Games, Off To The Races, Blue Jeans and Born To Die) are still the best songs IMO. Except for maybe Without You. Haters gon' hate, it's a decent pop album really. If you enjoyed the EP, you'll enjoy this album.

Yeah, I dig We R Who We R, but everything else is pretty weak. And oh, my god. I love that you dig Stephen too; it's so ridiculous, it's awesome. "That feel when I wanna knit you a sweater." I totally dig Blind too. And Animal, the track, is pretty satisfactory. For all the shit, she gets, I actually think Kesha's pretty smart: she's making low-ass common denominator music that doesn't try to be anything else, and she's doing it in a way that disgusts as many people as it attracts. I definitely agree that she's got a lot of potential bubbling under and now that her foot's in the door and commercially reliable enough, we're gonna see some interesting stuff in the future.

Fuck yes, let's talk about Kesha. I found myself liking a lot of Animal, actually. Not an absolutely strong album, but has its moments. I even find myself enjoying some of the sadder songs.

Did you hear Oneohtrix Point Never - Replica? I don't see that album of his in your library. If you haven't, I highly recommend it, it's going to be on my end of the year list for sure.

It's pretty damn good. 4 out of 10 tracks had already been released but I havn't heard any of them until I got the album. Definitely in my top 10 of 2011
