I love this question :D I started getting more into in Eurovision in 2015/2016 (before I just watched the finals caually with my fam) so my answer will be based on the songs from 2016 to now. I'm French but usually dislike France's entry. Norway, Moldova, Germany and Switzerland are almost always is in my faves (especially Norway). Australia and Portugal always bring good vibes and make me want to cheer for them as well. Also Estonia and Italy often have really good vocals. I also tend to like Spain a lot but a bit less these last few years. But many other countries have had one or two songs that were amongst my faves one year. I tried to keep this not too long cuz I could talk about Eurovision for hours :) What about you?

I’ve watched Eurovision since 2006, but got more into the fandom online in the recent years! My favorites tend to be Iceland, Moldova and France, I like them almost every year. Norway’s also pretty good, same with Estonia and Serbia. I’m Finnish and I think Finland is sort of hit or miss, I like it when we send rock/alternative entries but the ballads we send are usually quite boring and flat and the pop entries do not hold up against the powerhouses of European pop.

I mean, I preferred Cha Cha Cha for multiple reasons, so far it looks like it’s going to be in my top 5 songs in Spotify Wrapped this year but the hate Loreen got was ridiculous. It wasn’t her fault. She just did her job and she did it well. Loreen is a talented singer and a soulful performer, and even if the song wasn’t my favorite, I can see why it did well. And I mean, most people saw the win coming weeks prior, as soon as Loreen was announced as Sweden’s participant it was pretty much over for everyone else haha. That being said, I’d want juries to be reconsidered - not removed, but maybe they should include more people and from a larger variety of fields related to art, music, entertainment and performance, and maybe some tweaking with percentages could be done as well. In UMK audience has 75% and the jury has 25% of the vote and while I think the same wouldn’t exactly work with Eurovision, they could try maybe 40/60 ratio or some different approach.
