Life in Antarctica is not as bad as one might imagine. It's not nearly as dreary a place once you get the chance to explore everything the continent has to offer. I swear I saw a dinosaur once, but I'm not sure if that was a real encounter or the effects of hypothermia. Either way, it's been a trip for the most part. ;)

I have only heard a few samples thus far, but I'm so excited! Dude, it's Meshuggah. It's always going to be great! For some odd reason I feel like Koloss is like a cross between Chaosphere and ObZen. That comes only from what I've heard right now, but it does sound great! I need to get my copy in a few days! >:D \m/

I kind of figured that was the case. I did figure in that the regime would censor certain websites, but I don't have first-hand knowledge of their policies on Internet traffic and connectivity. Not much is happening over here in these parts. I'm at university studying journalism and holding down work in the meantime. I'm sorry that it took so long to reply. I honestly thought that I responded already. I dropped the ball on this one and I'm sorry that I kept you waiting.

Oh hey, mate! Not much is going on over here. To be honest, I'm just messing around. How are you doing, dude? What is up in your neck of the woods? :)

Yeah, no problem! It's true, though. They're inhuman. They can't be human, they're like machines built to play metal. It's like they're from the future or from outer space. They're trying to show us how it's supposed to sound. >:)

Really? You listen to jazz, too? Well, it doesn't surprise me. Good shit right there! Meshuggah is the just the best and the fact that 95% of your top tracks are from that band really impress me, mate! It's radical. >:) \m/

Thank you so much, mate! Sick taste as always. Deicide and Alter Bridge? Radical! :D

It would be cool to see what you came up with if you tried to do that. I don't play any instrument myself as of now, but that would be my goal once that does become reality. Seriously. I mean, I can hear that style in Fellsilent. For some reason, whenever they get to a certain point they're transitions sound this way to me. For example, listen to the song "Mindless Self". That is what I hear in their music. Tool is the same way. The best example from Tool would have to be "Reflection". That song describes everything, but I would do that in a heavier style. It would be so cool if either you or anyone else tried to do it! :D

Hell, if you're not a fan then their must be some sort of problem with you. Seriously. Also, this has reminded me of this thought. It is a style that to my knowledge has never been tried before. Personally, what would give me chills is a band that would cross the polyrhythmic assault of Meshuggah and the warmth of Persian or Middle Eastern folk music. I don't know why this came back to mind. Perhaps it all comes back to Tool. I just want a band to do that, but take it a step further. You know?

Yeah man I can't imagine what it's like out there, I mean i was reading about how Ahmadinejad wants to create an Intranet sorta deal within Iran only, and block internet access from the rest of the world. And soccer players going to jail for kissing their fans, it just sounds horrible. Hope you make it outta there sometime bro \m/
