Agent Side Grinder is a Swedish band that listened very carefully to Curtis & co, but I like them. Their new album 'Alkimia' is on heavy rotation here! And Tonetta? Inspired by Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, A Winged Victory for the Sullen and (for me at least) Santaolalla's soundtrack of 'Brokeback Mountain'. Thanks for the recommendations! The two albums have a very different sound, but I like both. My only problem is (of course) the language barrier. My very basic knowledge of Spanish helps me out sometimes; fortunately there are sites (good and absolute rubbish) that provide translations of Buarque's lyrics. Especially helpful for Construção! I might dive into more of his albums, as I just read about his Ópera do Malandro...

No no, I refuse to pay for a 'radio'! As for Chico Buarque, I'm looking into some more albums than the introductory 'Definitive Collection' I've got. 'Carioca_Ao Vivo' seems to be highly recommended...

I don't know about you, Yuri, but I've somehow lost the big urge to listen to music lately. Don't know if it's temporary or not... The fact Last.fm seem to be so understaffed that they can't even come up with a 64-bit scrobbler for iTunes definitely doesn't help. Spotify isn't an alternative as I don't like it (I'm not a 'streamer', I'm an 'owner' - the ads in between make my toes curl, my stomach turn & my ears twitch). Ah well, nothing Clementine can't help ;-)

Haha yeah, I do :D and all those events here on Facebook isn't even all of them, since I go to industrial clubs there too, which have only DJs playing there, and because of that those events aren't added here on last.fm. Well, I haven't been doing music that much recently, but I've been thinking of finally releasing an EP or something like that under my rhythmic noise project, Sortaja. Still need to finish a couple of songs though, but most likely I'm going to release something this spring.

Também me surpreende um pouco. A princípio não gosto do gênero, muito apressado e os vocalistas sempre parecem estar com prisão de ventre, mas aprecio algumas exceções como Diablo Swing Orchestra e, mais recentemente, Turisas. Procuro algo parecido com o álbum Stand Up and Fight!, forte, divertido e inspirador ao mesmo tempo.
