I've always just mailed order@psfrecords.com, but some months ago that was changed to psfrecords@live.jp. I've never ordered anything through psfmm, so I don't know which is better. It can take a while before they get back to you by mail, though.

funny to see my 2 year old message on iTunes there... meanwhile the library has more than doubled in size (990 GB atm), and it's still (sort of) manageable : ). so anyway, when can we expect new Mikami and Tomokawa albums, I wonder?

hey, I've got 430+GB in an iTunes library (on a pc), because I'm quite demanding when it comes to diacritics and 'exotic' fonts, and generally iTunes does a good job with those. I like the cover flow feature, and while it occasionally gets a little bit slow when I'm doing a search or importing more music, it's usually fine.

yeah, in the end I couldn't make it due to job obligations... very frustrating! but yeah I've seen him, and will see him again in Brussels in a couple of weeks. did he do any duets with the support acts? did anyone record the concerts? still sad to have missed it.

http://www.mynameisalbertayler.com/ funny, i was looking on this site and if you go to the screening section you'll see that this film played all over england months ago and is only now premiering in the usa. i guess the grass is always greener thing works where ever you are. but i'll take your health care system and government over what we have any day. cheers

maybe, but not having visited in about 10 years it seems vital reading wire magazine. but likewise with living in nyc everyone thinks this is the shit but most of my musicaian friends tour europe so they don't starve.

no problem, and in my book there are no sub-par ayler recordings (though some have lesser recording quality - i'll travel through any sonic muck to hear more of his music). i think the love cry album is the best for uninitiated, and you'll probably want to get it some day but if you dig my name is you're ready for the esp's. love bailey's ballads to my left btw.

i noticed yor Albert Ayler shout Could anyone recommend a good album to start with? i would start with the impulse record Love Cry http://www.amazon.com/Love-Cry-Albert-Ayler/dp/B000003N67/ref=sr_1_4/104-9145176-4142313?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1194618725&sr=1-4 and then move on to all the esp-disk records http://espdisk.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=26

We seem to share similar tast in artwork... if you like Junior Kimbrough you might want to get hold of the soundtrack to the movie 'Big Bad Love' lots of good stuff on there.

if you get a chance to upload those that would be awesome. I think I found a site a while ago where you could buy the soundtrack, but it was all in Japanese and I'm sure extremely expensive to import. I can try to dig it up though, if you want.

I don't really remember the song in the credits, but if it's the slower song that's featured in the trailer along with the theme I believe it's by Ego-Wrappin', too. Actually I think the whole soundtrack might have been a Kazufumi Kodama/Ego-Wrappin' effort, but I'm not completely sure. I haven't been able to find places to d/l those songs, or any info on them that's not in Japanese.
