No worries, my man! Glad things are going well, I've more or less been doing the same. Finally got a new turntable for Christmas, so I've been spinning that a lot lately. Bought some vinyl I've been wanting for ages, as well.

Yeah man, Unortheta what an album. I'm really glad you noticed the variety of genres in my library though. The thing is, music is like a journey, there is always some element you're gonna like about it wheter it's punk, hardcore or etc. So I think you've given Ulver a shot, what do you think of their work?

It's all good man, the reason I'm so curios about your EOTY list is that I believe that you listen to music with your brain rather than your ears and It's pretty obvios, not sure if I made my point there but what I'm trying to say is if a record that I haven't heard of made it to your list then It's definitely worth givin' a shot. I also spent last friday reading some of your reviews in rym including your review on Bolzer Hero, Keep up the good work my man. Also, check your twitter. Enjoy your holiday and have a good time :)

Also, you've listened to a lot of various metal stuff that I've never heard of so I'm pretty keen to check those out.

Aha, I get what you mean mate, don't worry! They're actually one of the first, more extreme metal bands that I discovered, way back in 2005, so I have a certain love for them.

So I was listening to some Departe and Ulcerate and during the blast segments bits, it kinda reminded me of a sick band called Akerocke - you're probably familiar with them. PS: sorry for filling up your shoutbox entirely with my comments, haha.

Same edition as mine, solid black disc - looks amazing! "Obscura" is actually the only Gorguts album I've listened to (so far) though I definitely will listen to their newer material. Oh, I will absolutely listen to those bands, cheers! I'm quite looking forward to checking 'em out actually.

You're a bit like me, in regards to a very varied taste in music, I'm particularly partial to Gorguts, I recently picked up the 2015 re-issue of "Obscura" which is a cracking record, it took me a while to get into it though, it's incredibly challenging, but rewarding. Well, if you're into dream pop/shoegaze, you should really check out His Name Is Alive, particularly "Livonia" and "Home Is In Your Head" absolutely beautiful music!

Well, where to begin ... I gave Alcest recent release a couple of listens, it's got some new intresting tunes as I thought Niege has lost his sense of innovation after Shelter. pretty good album imo. I think we're on the same page on this one :) About death records, I've been listening to Deliverance by Opeth for a while now. Damn this shit is underrated as fuck! Vocals are killer all way long from begining till the end. Also checkout these records if you haven't already : Wilderun - Dust and Croocked Thoughts / Whole Orphaned Land discography / Killer Be Killed 2014 Self-titled release ( Super-fuckin-Band tho! ) / Heaven Shall Burn - Wanderer Good luck with your studies too :)

This new Ulcerate single is stunning, liked it more than their older stuff though. About latest Fallujah record, it didn't grab me either except for two or three songs including Scar Queen. Dreamless is a bit repetitive I reckon, while I remember each and every song in TFP. Dreamless is mixed and mastered perfectly but in the other hand it's got less catchy tunes compared to TFP. give it another shot and tell me what you think about it after a listen. I think we're on the same page on this one. One other thing, since you like Ulcerate, I think you will also like Sulphur Aeon 2015 album ( Gateway to Antisphere )

I checked out Vermis by Ulcerate and gotta say one hell of a death metal band man! great dynamics, music, vocals and specially drumming patterns which are catchy. Haven't checked Aevangelist yet but I will as soon as I find a proper link to download their albums. KAT was shutdown like 3 weeks ago or so and I haven't been able to get what I want since then. A big bummer actually. I also have been listening to TesseracT, Fallujah and BTBAM for 2 years now. Common thing between these is that they've developed during time and have changed their styles in a good way, Specially BTBAM and TesseracT. Parallax II - Future Sequence ( not sure if spelled it right ) is my favorite BTBAM record. TesseracT Altered State is the most listened record in my library and Fallujah The Flesh Prevails was in my 2014 top ten list two years ago. Anyways, thanks for your suggestions man. Keep it metal!
