Just saw that you caught Knurl! I just found out about it, disappointed to have missed it. A similar thing happened to me with Hijokaidan and Borbetomagus. How did you hear about it?

Actually, I put it on. I was going to go up for the Leeds date to begin with but then I discovered he had been trying to get a south date with no luck and decided to take myself out of a four year retirement from doing shows.. it went really well, everyone's sets were amazing - I'm going to try and do a bunch more this year.

Oh! I've probably met you. I caught one A Raja’s Mesh Men performance actually. Cool, I'll keep an eye out. Hope Knurl comes back soonish.

Yo, you heard the artist yeule? I think you may like their new record Glitch Princess. It has some distinctive elements reminiscent of the current hyperpop trend but is generally much more subdued, very lyrically dark. It also ends with a 5-hour piece of pretty engaging ambient drone, so there's that.

Yo, you heard the piece Tissues by Pan Daijing just released? It goes. (Slightly noisy ambient drone + voice)

I remember ages ago you recommended me some good DnB so I'm returning the favour now: Check out the LP The Many Hands Of God by Gallery S. Quite moody and jungly. Dunno if you're also into housey type stuff but if so, the stuff the same guy makes under the moniker MoMa Ready (and also collaboratively as AceMoMa) is abolute fire, probs some of the best both-club-and-album-applicable music I've heard come out recently. Makes me wanna go partying in New York.

Heard this shit thought you might dig if you don't already know. Game of two halves. First 3 tracks some hypnotic repetitive weird trippy experimental instrumental beats like you will go mad in a good way. Second half like Chopped and Screwed basically, if you're into that I dunno. Definitely worth the full runtime at least once though. https://ponksbakery.bandcamp.com/album/yayayi
