Ill explain it. The album starts out with the title track. The title track is meant to show how happy Lou Reed is when he takes drugs and it ends with a droney and anticlimactic ending to show how he feels after he comes down from his high. Then it goes into The Gift which shows the velvet undergrounds dark sense of humor and shows you Lou Reeds excellent storytelling. Then we get to lady godivas operation which is about the poor treatment of transgender people in the late 60s. In the end of lady godivas operation you can hear the doctors of her operation whispering "youre not a girl" while they lobotomize her. Here she comes now is a jokingly written track about the female orgasm. Then we have heard her call my name which is the "sequel" to here she comes now. Its more loud and noisy and it shows that the girl has achieved orgasm. Now we have sister ray which is a 17 minute garage rock song that tells a story of Doug, Sally, Sister ray, the sailor, and lou. They all have a heroin fuel
