Good day! Yeah I meant to say, was brilliant. Setlist was also great (http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/belle-and-sebastian/2010/symphony-hall-birmingham-england-73d29e75.html) albeit fairly different from yours in the second half it looks like. Was really brilliant with the London Contemporary Orchestra backing them, although it was all-seated and I was sat miles back on a balcony which was a little odd, felt like being at a theatre

Quite well ta. Been working hard of course. The final sprint and all... Really looking forward to Belle & Sebastian. It's gonna be legendary. I'll struggle not to mouth along with every song like a complete twat though. Facebook informs me you finished your dissertation. Good job!

Bit embarassed by that play count for Bob Dylan. I've decided to focus on my post-rock instrumental for now, as it's a love i've been lacking - any recommendations? That first track reminded me of Pavement. It had that not-quite-connected feeling that they specialise in, don't you think? Brilliant though. I love Pot Kettle Black too. And the poppy Heavy Metal Drummer, haha.

Haha, just trying to catch up. I've given Yankee Hotel Foxtrot a good few listens by the way- love it. And also been listening to a spot of Mermaid Avenue (didn't realise they were Woody Guthrie songs...shit the bed)- love it. But yea, how's it going boss?

If you're looking for more Comet Gain, you should try Broken Record Prayers next. It's neck and neck my favourite record by them now, though for the same reasons as Realistes, it's under represented in my charts. As for Pulp, I can't say I'm mad about it to be honest. I like the singles I know, but the only album of theirs I've ever tried listening to is This is Hardcore which I found offensive in its awfulness. Maybe I'm being harsh, I haven't actually listened to it in about 7 years, so perhaps it's due a replay or two. That being said, I've heard that Different Class is meant to be the best, I might start there instead. How about you?

Why, is that a super compatibility I see? I believe it is. Nice charts man, I’m especially liking those Comet Gain scrobbles. In a fair world, Realistes would be one of my highest played albums. However, years of not having a last.fm account, combined with a scrobbling incompatible MP3 player, has rigged my charts worse than a Burmese election. Oh well...

Yes Milk Of Human Kindness is a lovely album from what I have heard. I don't yet have it but I will attain it very soon. Yes Green Man would serve you well, Reading is overrun by pissed loons. Seems to be a big narcotic clampdown round festivals from the police and I think that will be more evident next year.
