Yeah i agree! DT is a great band but nowadays is totally overrated!! there are a lot of prog bands much better that DT now!! (and it doesnt have to do with the quality of the musicians 'cuz they're great).

So do i, lol. The Mars Volta is one of the best acts made in US:)) Great prog rock!!! Actually they're quite better now than Dream Theater (to quote another prog band).

that is based on the origins of US. I mean this, you live in the most powerful country in the world, yet, one of the youngest. US is the representation of a modern country. Multicultural. At the same time it seems that people cant deal with that. But thats not just a problem of US, its worldwide. I like US but im not sure if i liked to live there.

Im not sure about that, maybe because i dont live in the US i see things in another perspective. I believe is the other way around. religious and ethnic problems seem to influence politics. For instance, that statement that who doesnt support iraqi war isnt a patriot is a kind of speech

At the same time..its weird how some prejudice can stop an entire festival, specially if is a metal festival. With all religious manifestatins...i have part of my family living in washington and its totally bizarre talk with them about some subjects...(note: i love USA, lol.)

Most bands i know (thats another particular thing here everyone knows bands or played in some)want to play and not to be a burocrat..often happens bands come quite disappointed from US. Because of all that burocracy..
