Thanks! lol just a Fiona Apple & Moses Sumney fangirl here who occasionally like his harsh techno and dub.

SERIOUSLY. It's unreal, kind of a lot to take in. I'm pacing myself with a listen or two a day.

I love it!! it's not even really the type of electronic I usually like, but it all comes together for me. Not my fav album of 2k18, that belongs to Lotic and Laurie Anderson, but definitely on my top ten!

"The Knife" and "Thank God I'm a Lizard" have these hints of Burial influence that I love, at least in my opinion. And Yeah listen to Power again, it took a few listens until I really got into that album.

Man that's how I remember feeling the first time I saw him, left really happy. Don't think I'll be able to catch him this week, shame cause I'm really starting to get into his new album. He comes here fairly often, so I'm sure I'll see him some other time. Glad you had fun though, always a treat to see him live!

Yeah! Born and raised seeing shows since 2002! Though recently I've been to a lot shows outside of Portland. I traveled all the way to Chicago to see Blood Orange primarily, then he planned a tour and is coming here! Oh well two shows, I can't complain.

Dude nice! My parents moved to Oregon (Bend) a few years ago, and my sister lives in Portland, so I'm up there fairly often. Will hopefully move there at some point. I saw him in 2013 and it was seriously one of the best shows I've ever been to. Might have also helped that he dropped one of my favorite albums that year (which I just finally got on vinyl), but he is just so great live. The last time I saw him was a couple years ago, but I'm seriously considering seeing him again this Thurs (it's the show after the one you're going to). Negro Swan is fantastic.

Yay - finally! That should be awesome. They're back here in Feb too, woohoo. Think Crystal is my favorite place to see them still though.

Hey Josh, I just saw your message, have not switched my email address over to the current one! I saw Interpol in March, the new songs were actually really good.. June is at a very small venue and I overslept when tickets went on sale, and they're currently really expensive, so will see any more go on sale in the next few days. Primavera was good, preferred last year's line-up, but was not bad - Body/Head (and Blixa) were in this venue that is on site that you have to queue to get in to, so did not bother with them unfortunately. I'd never heard of Slowdive but they were good live. Seattle is awesome, I would love to live there - may as well give it a go! Could do anything. I'm working for a private medical insurance company here - not so sinister when there is also the NHS! It's about 10 minute walk from where we live so not too bad at the moment. You should definitely come to London!

Yeah, I dunno either. When Night Time, My Time got its physical release in January I went to 2nd Avenue Records assuming they'd have it and the old lady that works there told me she didn't order it because she didn't think anyone would want it. I was just like "WHAT?". Then I called Music Millennium and I reserved the last copy left in the store; the other couple of them they had in had sold that morning. So it's hard to tell what her fanbase is here I suppose. I hope the St. Vincent show was good. Have you seen her before? I mean, I can't imagine it being anything less than impressive. I was blown away when I saw her live. It's just that I'm not digging the new album that much so I wasn't all that interested in seeing her this time around.

And fucking DITTO on Sky Ferreira. I considered going to the Miley Cyrus show in Tacoma just to see her, but decided against it because it was at the Tacoma dome. She needs to come here and play a smaller-ish venue, like the Crystal or something. I'm not usually into pop music that much, but I have a handful of artists that I really love, and she's one of them.

I know right?! And nah, no St. Vincent for me. She sold out I heard, right? I didn't really dig the new album all that much though so it's alright. I saw her on her Strange Mercy tour though and she was incredible live— like, stunningly good. And she did a Pop Group cover!

For sure! I don't see very many people local to me on last.fm, only a small few. I was going to go to Chelsea Wolfe but I won't be able to now with school and shit starting for me next week. I saw her last September though at Berbati's and she was awesome, although she was clearly uncomfortable onstage. She seems to have gotten better based on video I've seen of her more recent shows.

Where were you in regard to Kim or Bill onstage? I was more toward the left, but I can't remember a curly haired guy. I do remember a girl giving me my wristband, and someone else gave my friend (blonde curly haired girl) her wristband. Perhaps that was you? I also saw one of my film professors there for a super brief second in the crow. I saw his name on the website's event itinerary though when I bought my ticket, so I think he's doing an exhibition of some sorts there. I thought the show was awesome, exponentially better than the recorded material even (which is saying a lot).

Really?! Were you right by the stage? There was one shorter girl in front of me, but I was just about directly in front of Kim. I think I had a brown long sleeved shirt on if I remember right. I left my spot at the stage right before they came on to get another beer, and then the lights dimmed and I ditched the line at the bar and came back.

Oh Haxan Cloak! Yeah, it's pretty good. Drone isn't often done very well but he really pulls it off.

Ha ha, I never thought about them like that until now. You might have just ruined them for me. But it's true I am full of surprises... I'm getting to the point where I get anxiety when someone asks me what kind of music or movies I like because I just don't know what to say.
