AFAIK last.fm levels uses the difference in plays between your #1 artist and your #50 artist, but there are also other factors at work. I also know that it somehow docks you if you are perceived to be "cheating" (actual or not), which may have been what happened to Mudduck. I also listen to an eclectic range of music and like to explore new stuff. Incidentally, The Weather Channel which I listen to is actually a 60 second forecast for my local metropolitan area, which went out four times a day or so.... So that's why I have 1608 plays LOL. They apparently stopped doing it, so it will probably get pushed down the charts some day. Hope you're having a nice holiday season!

I just plugged your username into last.fm levels, since I noticed you have an almost equal number of plays for your top 50 artists and I was curious to see what came up. Your level came up as 98, which according to the chart is.... well it's off the chart! O_O

It's no problem, thank you for the add. I will have a little vote later on today. Syd and Pink Floyd were quite a big early influence- more so than is reflected by my Last FM profile, anyway. I noticed too that your chosen book for desert island disks would be Sartre's "Being and Nothingness" ... I haven't it yet, but Nausea was the inspiration for my avatar

Hi - thanks for visit - yes found choice of songs for Desert Island a little bit hard to choose. Being disabled ,could not get up and dance to my 60's :-) chose in a way calming and relaxation ones but if I really wanted much loved oldies , they would probably be from 30's - 50's . - like Ronnie Ronalde and Joseph Locke etc. One of my favourites and have the old 78' listened to it as a child on the old wind up gramaphone -have a lot of old 78's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trtxVvyzlrA

Yeah I saw Dawlish on the TV, seems daft to repair it in the current position, I think I'd move the line inland a bit! You're goingI'm not daft, I'm about 700 ft above sea level to retire, where to, somewhere higher I hope, I'm about 700 ft above sea level, lol and loving looking down on everyone! :)

Hi Mozz, just has a read of your future of the planet, kinda makes all the green issues and the taxes they cost us look a bit insignificant doesn't it. How you doing anyway, drying out yet? :)
