Thanks man! The song "Chords" is really "voids in rapture" now if you listen to that song in its entirety. And as for After the Burial, i don't care for it much. Rareform was 100% better, but i only fully enjoyed the remake of Rareform with the new vocals. What was done here was only average lol.

Yeah, not a very Jazzy release that's for sure. Still pretty technical and fairly original material. I felt the same way as you after first one or two listens then the songs started to grow on me. Not a fan of the breakdowns/djenting still though. Don't know whats up with that. Sure, the intro to "An Incarnation's Dream" starts with a breakdowns with a tasty solo on top of it, but these give off a much different feel and I feel they were placed into the songs for different reasons.

I think that it's pretty solid. I wish that they had given the bass a higher priority in the mix. The drumming is great though, as is the guitar work for the most part. Vocals are okay, but I prefer the vocals off of any of the previous releases. Your thoughts?

Haha yep, Nobuo Uematsu! The Final Fantasy X soundtrack is amazing! I haven't played the game though but I kind of want to because of how epic the OST is! OMG. :O DREAM THEATER-ISH VERSIONS OF FFX MUSIC? DO WANT. DO FUCKING WANT. I need to get this. :D

Haha well actually I've recently been getting really into jazz so I put on the jazz radio on last.fm and he came up and I really liked it. I need to listen to some jazz pianists anyway since I'm on my way of becoming one. It's great stuff though! So is Herbie Hancock.

From what I've gathered it's all done and the newest guitarist who also plays bass for Gnostic layed down the tracks. That may be an unmixed version before bass though.

That's how I feel about AAL. So awesome to watch them play. Seeing them live is a way different experience. All Shall Perish have only put out three albums though so I think they still have room to improve. I like the old Red Chord better too, but I still think FTTTM is a pretty cool direction for them to take too. The guest vocalist was the singer of Full Blown Chaos. The Faceless played Horizons of Chaos Pt. 1 didn't they? I've had that song stuck in my head since the show. An Autopsy could possibly be my favorite from that album, maybe Leica idk. Hey has your band put any new tracks up for me to check out?

Cephalic fucking grinds \m/. Well I was mainly hyped for The Red Chord and The Faceless. I have an even more intense appreciation for Animals As Leaders now though. Navene is an amazing drummer, and Tosin and him go together really well (I was at the right side of the stage). I was totally out of it when I realized All Shall Perish were playing because I forgot somehow. It was kinda like a surprise that they played. I've liked them since I bought Hate Malice Revenge, and they've gotten way better since then. I like the album Awaken The Dreamers the best though. The instrumentation, vocals, and the lyrics that have a lot of meaning, really political which takes balls to do in metal and to me stands out against the regular deathcore. And the Red Chord, holy shit Greg Weeks is a beast. I was next to the bass stacks so it was louder than Gunface's guitar which turned out to be an awesome place to be. The Faceless leave me speechless, best band of the night. Probably my favorite band now.

Yeah dude, I was disappointed too. I told some guy to do salvia during their set too haha. What were your favorite sets that night? Mine would be Animals As Leaders, The Faceless, and All Shall Perish.
