Glad you enjoyed yourself. I'm sure it probably felt like country life as compared to NYC. :-) I know that's how i used to feel whenever i would come home for a visit. Not too much is going on here at the moment. I'm just working alot and got a few shows coming up. One of them being Depeche Mode but still debating that one. I haven't seen them since the SOFAD tour. To be honest, that was the last album i bought by them. They've been pretty horrible since Alan left the band and the new album just proves it even more. I still adore and have massive respect for them despite this. Just have to ask myself if it would be worth a 3.5 hr drive? hmmmmm

You have quite a rare pallette - Aviador Dro and Experimental Products are not that well known even in the obscure music lover circles. "modern living in the 80's!"

Hope you're having a very nice day. I am so far as it's a beautiful one here...so warm and sunny! I'm so happy to hear you like Plastic Machine. They're definitely one of my newer favorites and they would need to hurry up with that debut album. Watch your box as there will be a little something there for you soon. :-) Oh yeah, i'm working on a weekend getaway to NYC for some time soon. I'll let know when i workout the details. I wanted to be there on May 20 to see Screen Vinyl Image and Violethour @ ummmmm...can't remember where exactly. I want to say Pianos but not sure.

NY was such an odd place at times but i had a complete ball despite this. It was close to impossible making friends so i just did everything on my own including barhopping, gigs and whatever else i wanted to do. I do believe i was out just about every night i lived there. I had never even been there before i moved so there was much to discover. It's indeed a time in my life that i'll always treasure. ;-)

Would be nice if one of us could go and get a review from the other. Obligations rule i suppose. I really miss living in NY as i got to see so many amazing shows. Being back home now i don't see anything unless i travel at least 3 hours. I'm very happy to be amongst your friends here so thanks for that. It's much appreciated. ;-)

ha! yes, not dancing is quite inexcusable, especially with such niche scenes. When a decent club night does materialise, you gotta support it with some serious ass shaking, not ass sitting. I certainly fall in the former camp, not latter. I only went to Wierd the once so can't really comment on the dynamism of your fellow countrymen. There wasn't anyone of note playing on the occassion - not so many people and alot of smoke. I sank a few shots and danced by myself.
