I have been to Primavera the last couple of years and even though this year was probably the best, I am bored of Barcelona at the moment. However I might do Porto instead although Yatin and possibly Alex are doing Barca. The Bournemouth crew were fine. It was nice to have a large group at the campsite - last year there was just the 4 of us for most of it.

It does certainly have an Antics feel, though I kind of wish it had something as immense as 'Cruise' or 'Not Even Jail' amongst the ten tracks. Oh yeah, how come I've only just heard the bonus track off OLTA?! Mind Over Time, it's a stunner! Tidy! I'll get on it and we'll get something arranged :) x

The record actually 'clicked' for me this morning, whilst listening on my way to work...Breaker 1 is maybe the only track that doesn't do it for me. It's certainly never gonna unsurp the first two, but then did anyone honestly expect it to? I remember being massively disappointed when their last one came out, I've certainly not over played that one. Will look to draw up a list of prospective gigs, for us to pick one and meet up for yeah? :)

Fortunately I wasn't that hungover, just knackered. Yatin bought my ticket for next year! as it's the tenth anniversary I am expecting something special.

certainly Condessa Soo, but there are other routs: polanco, up to the downtown area, and colony rome, are terrific places to stay, and drink from tequila (or go to the state of Guadalajara, since in this state is made that drink: tequila) up to what your you want. dia de muertos is a great inheritance of ancient Mexican cultures, in those days are done many rituals for the dead, it's really awesome. =O

Seeing the National on your birthday would be amazing. I have this desire to see them play in eastern Europe, Prague for example, it would have to be autumn or winter for the full 'National' experience. The new Knife record, I'm a bit undecided, it's certainly a brave record and demands quite a lot of the listener, which isn't a bad thing.

Their album is probably my most eagerly awaited release this year. That's a pity that you can't make any of their shows, I'm made up that they're playing the Manchester Apollo, as I dislike seeing bands at Ally Pally. You do have an impressive list of upcoming events

How were My Bloody Valentine last night? They must be amazing! I see you're going to see the Flaming Lips in two months.. I'm a bit jealous :) My band is not very famous yet but we flew to LA to mix our first album and we'll play three shows with The Fratellis in UK. So it's going on well :) We'll play in London in less than a month!

I love Women too! (the band:) ) I'm not sure which festivals I'll do this summer. I would have loved to go to Primavera in Barcelona, best lineup for years! But with my band we'll do most of the biggest belgian festivals (Pukkelpop, Dour, Ardentes..) except Rock Werchter. Super compats on the scrobs yeah! Wild Nothing, Tame Impala, My Bloody Valentine, Beach Fossils, Sonic Youth, Woods, Kurt Vile, Pavement, Deerhunter, Real Estate, Grizzly Bear, Neon Indian,... <3
