i swear i'm not egotistically listening to my own music; i'm reviewing the mixes i just got back for the new album. we've got one or two more days in the studio to make changes before we go to mastering and then go to la to cut vinyl, and i'm super-excited about it all!

"i keep habitually loading my last.fm profile to make sure that my listening habits aren't inadvertently going to embarrass me. is this normal, does this go away." ohmygod, you? are too cute & this? pretty much cracked me up. i used to do the same, habitually. i also had this tendency of listening to horrifically mortifying songs and then deleting them from my profile in a panic. something here about guilty pleasures? i listen to most of my music, these days, as well, on devices incapable of tracking plays. my last.fm has become a haunted place. ghostly ta, faint pianos, and this really should have been an email.

my compatibility is always very low with everyone. i am a unique and special rabbit. or i listen to one song on repeat. over and over again. whoopsie. HI!
