Yeah, I'll be honest with you. We do have one thread dedicated to discussing pending members whether they would contribute or be an active member in the group. Most of the original ones are inactive anymore and were shown the exit. They would be welcomed back in open arms, but they seem to have abandoned the site or never looked back afterwards. You don't really need to be that super active, w just need some solid members who will drop by and share a talk or two from time to time. We've had a quite a few who suddenly deletes their account for unknown reason with out even saying bye. *Shrugs* Well, I think I'm babbling much. See ya at the groups. And of course don't hesitate to drop by my shoutbox as well if you feel bored or want to talk about random things. :D

Greetings Roxana, The Ancient (Dis)Order of the Last FM Platinum Round Table opens it's well guarded fortress gate to you. We wish that you be active in the groups discussions and drop by occasionally whenever you have the time off. Do visit the shoutbox for the ancient roll-call routine with the traditional cake party(and the occasional paddling if you're lucky). ;) See you there.

I have missed you too my friend! So what was the cause of your surgery? You don't strike me as an extremely verbose person, but I could be wrong; perhaps your job and clients bring out the words? I wish I could take vacations like you do. It seems like you really wring yourself out and bust your ass and then refuel/recharge with sublime getaways... Sadly, we have not camped yet. We have been contending with an extreme heatwave for weeks; We have gotten above 100 degrees! Our lawn is like a lemon-lime spread on the Earth. Life is good otherwise... in spite of injuries to my neck which put me in touch with a chiropractor and masseuse. Thank goodness! The boys are now one- they will be walking soon I am sure. School is around the corner and I feel like my chances to play music and/or study/read are slim to nil. Work provides me with these chances! The family is functioning like a healthy one should... No worries. Life TRULY IS GOOD. :D

I'm looking forward to read your poem, if you find time to write it. If not, as long as you still take time to drop me a few shouts, i'll be delighted. Unrelated, i was wondering: do you have to write your (scientific) articles in english? The omnipresence of english in scientific world and academics is something i think about a lot.

Have you basked in the shade of a tree lately? Preferably far away from "civilization"? I hope so. I took a country drive in my new Subaru today... I cheated with the GPS turned on, but it was nice to see vast stretches of growth and greenery... love it. I must camp this summer! Take care. Hugs.

Yes I was on vacation last time I went here. Now, the routine's back: spending saturday's morning working (with a lot of coffee, of course!) because of monday's deadlines. I've been fine, although still wondering what I am doing here. Well. I suppose YOU should write the first ultimate poem about coffee. How does it sound? Good!

R- There is no doubt that I am working a double shift between my actual job and the watching of my boys. Sometimes I feel like a warden, blockading areas of the house and acting as if they need to be shackled to my side. Other times I am an activities planner, librarian, dietician, you name it... it will come in handy soon. I start core nursing classes this fall! I just found out today I was accepted into the program; I honestly don't know how I am going to balance this additional responsibility! I finished my Anatomy and Physiology II class while my wife was in the hospital and I stayed with her... can it be worse with two boys, work, and class? I will find out. Happy biking young lady!

So I'm hoping this new paper has something to do with a cloning breakthrough... because you apparently need a copy of yourself to allow yourself time to slooooooowwwwww down and enjoy (less work) things... Make sure you at least enjoy the sight of the sky or the smell of fresh bread or something invigorating. Too much stuffiness indoors is no good at all... btw, I got the book "reinventing your life". Will read when I can. The boys are crawling all over and are borderline impossible to "control". Barriers are needed. Tent-stakes are needed for all furniture... fakk! It's Godzilla x 2. HELP!

Hey, I'm good, all things considered. It sounds like you, as usual, have your hands full. Perhaps this research paper is ground-breaking? Regardless, it's nice to see you pop in here and there- just like Sam noted below. Take care!

Wowzers! Not a lot of talking going on here. Hello! I have sent you a message elsewhere! ;) I think you are probably busy as usual, but I want you to know that I hope as always that you are doing more than treading water- in fact wading in warm lakes of revelry... :D

Hey best of luck finding a new house! We totally know what that is like... sort of exciting, but really a time-sucker; I know that it is in short supply for you there as it is for us here... We have not had time to buy a car yet but are thinking of a new one... a crossover or suv if possible. Something rugged. I want to camp in a few years with the boys! They are basically sitting up now and are just too damn cute for words. If you check fb, there might be some new pics up... and more soon hopefully. It feels good to be alive. I am ridding myself of all unhealthy relationships and fostering positivity in my life. No more vampires. No more victim/savior relationships... I hope you are well and always find time to be mindful of the simple and divine things which foster enjoyment in moments. Be well my friend.

I didn't know you were a fan of Mare... I found about them through Toby Driver, the main man behind Kayo Dot/Maudlin of the well... their one ep is great! The sun is boiling us now- what with our high humidity... All is well. You?

I must say I am quite the fan of travel... mostly of the driving variety. Not a huge fan of flying- I suppose it is the matter of lack of control over turbulence... but I can do it. Regardless, the prospect of novelty and new scenery is very enticing. I just put on some tunes and drive, drive, drive... maybe I am symbolically running away from/toward something... but really it is only the internal state that changes, right? I know people that want to move, as if it would solve everything... maybe in some ways... but maybe it's just a matter of reframing a mental approach? Yeah, warm weather is coming in... wet, muddy earth welcomes me. Not nice enough to play disc golf yet. Don't know if I will have time. Looking at buying a new car... changes are good. Be well sister R!

I agree; it has been too long. I never stopped wondering if all was okay. I am of course used to days passing between replies (on these islands which we live, bottles may take a while to open for that message washed up on our shores). We are well here. The boys are rolling over, chattering, sitting up (with some aide), and being just generally cute. Today we have 60 degree weather for the first time this year. I took the boys in the stroller onto the bike path and listened to an audio book on the way- basking in the sun, feeling the gentle breeze, and marveling at the country-side, pretending at times that I was in another country- no signs of man except the path and the occasional birdhouse or tracks in the unmelted snow under shade... serenity and peace helped me walk very slowly- an unusual pace for me. I am hoping your boy and your family are doing okay. My thoughts are always with you and yours. I sent you a FB message too a while ago... take care-- keep in touch!!! :D

Late? What is late when a friend is always there for you. No worries! ;) At times (and I am sure this will happen within a few years) I wish I could have the kind of busy and perhaps exciting life that you have- however I am certain that it is not always relaxing... This cold we all have seems like it might be the lingering type... who knows how long. I am excited though because the boys are now holding their own bottles to feed! Hopefully I will get picks up for that. Take care. :D

Quite the same here, which is comfortable. I'm not sure I could bear to have a daily/weekly schedule to respect scrupulously (some friend told me that at his workplace, they were counting and reporting his minutes of lateness. I know it's not amazing in the work world, but it would make me cringe if I was under such a regime). I know it's a chance, and I'm enjoying it gratefully.

I see, it's already a good step if you have stopped working during weekends. Work is something strange, it affects our behaviour in very odd ways. From my side, I still have that annoying habit from the student's life: work at strange hours, stop to work in the middle of the day but spend the whole sunday working, being unable to do several 8 and a half hours day work in a row on a long term period, but have compulsive phases where I can work 12 hours almost without a break... That makes me unemployable in the real work world.
