About 5 years my mates and I called ourselves Nightfire also, good name ;) But yeah, we were shit, and was nothing serious, but I've taken down the photos and shitty-ass demo from the Nightfire profile, so its all clean for ya :) Good luck with everything, and nice band name again haha

No, but I can/will. Seems like their atmospheric black metal. Sounds like something I'd enjoy. :D

I just got the latest one (The Parrot, the Pariah, the Delusion) about a month or two ago. It's the shit.

Ah...yeah, it's a relatively new thing. The Dear Hunter is great...I sort of ignored them for a while just because of the types of bands I always saw them billed with, but I ended up checking them out on accident and I really dig their stuff. I've only got their most recent one, but it's really good. Very cool blend of things.

Did you just "love" every single song on that Rotting Christ album? Because it sure looks like it. Maybe last.fm should just have a "love this album" option. I can think of a few albums I'd like to use it on.

Eek, sorry I couldn't make the Quo Vadis show. How did it go? And that's cool, it's always a pleasure to get to travel out of state for shows. Except for the last one. We were all at this venue in Richmond (some Battle of the Bands) for oh....8 hours since Athropos went on last, only for them to next even be granted a sound check, and for the judges to have already chosen the winner before they even got on stage. Ahh, gotta love the Virginia Metal Alliance..

Yeah Dillon just mentioned that yesterday. Where's the show going to be at? Seems most of the bands made friends that show. Athropos is playing a show with Brutallion so we're going down to Richmond tomorrow for that. By the way, I forgot to look at the show but do you have a demo?

:/ I think Bill and I are opting out for Summer Slaughter to save money since Germany's coming up soon. Plus he won't even be up here. I however prolly won't be sure about myself until the day of..... P.s.- Blood Red Throne's new album came out today. Have you heard them yet?

Smart ass. lol. I do throughly enjoy Dark Tranquillity, but when I started this account in Quebec, my ex and I were the same user, since we had the same computer. So there's a lot on here I didn't listen to from 2+ yrs ago. Now when I play my library, it brings them back up. Whatever.

Wow that's awesome! Summer Slaughter is coming up pretty soon here isn't it? I enjoyed Blackguard's performance at Paganfest and they were all really nice and fun to chat with. I'd like to see them again as well. When is the Quo Vadis show? And thank you for reminding me of that too haha! I definitely spaced that one but definitely plan on going now. That would be great if you all would play with Athropos again. Around here, the metal since is..well...almost nonexistent. They normally played with local punk bands because there's no other choices. It would be nice to have a crowd that was actually into it.

how was your kreator/belphegor experience? i had a damn good time at the troc (there were a few sound problems but what can you really expect). i even made a few new friends. one of the people i went with was this older biker dude who told me about how he went to a Death, Dark Angel show back in the day. that is fucking old school. ... and so i don't forget have a good birthday last.fm style.

i know you don't like thrash metal much but when you get a chance you should get drunk, buy a leather jacket, and listen to the demolition hammer album epidemic of violence because that is just what you need to do.

i've been enjoying bands with eviler progressions. it makes me happy! swarm of rats in a world of shit ... and after saying that i think wings would be delicious ... i certainly hope there isn't a swarm of rats in their kitchen.

well in the begining a band is always an investment and not a cheap one. there isn't anything involved in playing music which is cheap besides picks and musicians tend to be in a lower socioeconomic class i've noticed. i believe my bands drug issue has been resolved (in a positive manner for now) so hopefully we can turn stuff around. it only takes one member to sink a band though. is your show tomorrow all ages b/c i will be w/ my lady friend and she is a few months shy of 21 not sure that is what she would be wanting to do anyways. i've been working on my vocals some. you should give me some pointers sometime. i seem to be best a mid range black metaly kind of rasp. make me better!!!

well depending on how an upcoming intervention goes my band may die from a prescription opiate overdose. i have to say i've never played or listened to a better song writer locally or in the underground but drug addiction can turn someone into a monster. it also seems to make a person hyper creative. then again when your friend says hey don't let such and such bother you and you say hey i'm fine what are you talking about to which he replies i couldn't really tell what your face looks like everything is blurry (this is from 5' away) you start to wonder what the hell is really going on. if you ever know someone who needs to tap into their inner demons of creativity tell them to chase the dragon. its truly amazing. but anyways josh and i are around and free whenever and what not. no matter what happens the two of us have agreed to trudge forward and luckly for me everyone in south nj wants to play with josh. if you want to jam just give me a call when your free.
