Hi- my band Bike Thief (bikethief.bandcamp.com) is in the middle of a kickstarter right now to fund our debut full length, and we're still a long way from our goal. ANYTHING helps- we appreciate whatever you can give, even if its just a simple share of this link. Thanks!!!! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bikethief/bike-thiefs-debut-album-blessed-are-the-sleepy-one

Yeah I've made it to quite a few modest mouse shows in the past, I haven't seen them in years though. I listened to my morning jacket a little bit more, they are pretty good! Thanks for sharing them! <3

He's unfathomably amazing. I'm traveling far and wide just so I can see him again this year. I saw him in May and immediately after the show, I was desperately scheming to see him again. His studio recordings are nothing compared to the live shows. He lets his vocals soar during live performances and it's an experience not to be missed. You should definitely go! :)

I'm going to the Maiden/Coheed show in Auburn, WA for sure, and possibly the Denver show as well, if I have the extra cash. What about you?

I actually haven't been before, as I only moved here about six months ago. However, I'm never impressed with giant amphitheaters that would host bands like Maiden, as they're very corporate and their beer is too expensive. But I'm so excited to see them that I hardly think it'll matter, especially as I'm planning to sit on the lawn and drink with a bunch of dads, haha. I actually just got my ticket in the mail a few minutes ago!

Now remember, Hipster isn't a genre of music, and in most cases, band image shouldn't correlate with sound. I guess what I am saying is labels aren't cool. They suit products better than people. By the way thumbs up on Sigur Ros and Immortal Technique.
