Seit 2017 reitet das Kieler Trio Carolina auf einer erfrischend eigenwilligen Welle aus Rock, Blues und Soul. Sie liefern groovige Rhythmen und tanzbare Hooks und mischen dies mit einer guten Prise Melancholie und Herzschmerz. Ihre Songs sind überraschend und vielseitung: Mal mitreißend und voller Energie, mal sanft und emotional - doch immer mit einer authentischen Leidenschaft. Mit Gitarre, Bass und Schlagzeug im Gepäck und einem Faible für mehrstimmigen Gesang, schaffen sie eine Balance aus zeitlosen Einflüssen und frischem Sound. Starting out as a trio with a more desert rock influenced style like Californias legends Queens of the stone Age, northern Germany based COS released their debut longplayer „Hit it" in 2011 and joined the local club scene. With their second EP they took their listeners to a trip through the desert followed by a time of reorientation which finally leads to a fresh beginning with new drum power and some extra guitar and vocal energy. The new sound with more blues and laid back elements is now to hear on the new EP ,,Overhaul".
