Jambinai live at Highbury Garage. Like listening to 'Dreams Burn Down', 'Tame', 'You Made Me Realise', 'Demons' and 'Last Exit For The Lost'. But in Korean post-rock. Jawdropping.

It's sad that kpop that is popular worldwide is overshadowing other kind of South Korean music. This band is the most brilliant band in South Korea. Well, male kpop singers, male independent South Korean musicians, and the rest of men from South Korea all have to attend military service.

On the new record, I found myself wanting it to be softer, more leaning towards its post-rock side than post-metal one. I think it'd have been better to appreciate the clash of timbres between all the instruments going into the mix, specially the acoustic, traditional ones (pardon me for not knowing their names). Still though, as it stands, it's quite the charm. It's an hypnotic and primal sound, very dynamic in both its sound and composition. And the rap tune really took me by surprise; I've no idea what the vocalist is saying of course, but I just love the sound of it. Good stuff.
