This is if Ian Curtis had not hanged himself, but had gone on tour with his band to America and stayed there. I would buy myself a horse, a ranch, an acoustic guitar, a banjo, a harmonica and play completely different music. Something like this is possible

Simply awesome. An original and unbeatable country folk sound and decidedly sombre lyricism combined with DEE's unique vox create such a fantastic atmosphere to everything. 💜

16HP has a sound that is both mystical and powerful. some of their tracks (e.g. Clogger) truly seem like portals into the realm of the supernatural

I know not all Black Metal is sympathetic to Nazi-ism or Satan-ism or whatever, just like I know that the music of Cat Steven's is not about fundamentalist Islam. Just making a broader point.

"I like some black metal, I'm not a nazi" Come on man, NSBM is just a small movement of black metal. But yeah, if I agreed with everything I listened to then my music taste would be a lot more narrow.

I like Cat Stevens, I'm not muslim. I like some black metal, I'm not a nazi and/or satanist/whatever. I like old blues singers, I'm not dead. I don't need to keep stating it on the last fm pages of every band I listen to because nobody needs to know that. And I tell you, if I have to read "fire and brimstone" or "old time preacher" in another review of DEE's work I'm going to whinge about it all over the internet. Then they'll be sorry.

Very powerful music. I do not share David's faith, but underneath the christian images and metaphors, all I can hear is love shining through him.

Heavily influenced by The Gun Club, anyone who likes these guys need to check them out. Love both bands.
