I am glad I'm not the only one getting funeral doom vibes...the newest album reminds me of some of the more ambient and minimal stuff of that genre. I feel they are side stepping the doom tag. anyway, interesting project and new album!

One of the best long sleeve shirts I ever bought was ASOR from a Portland show at the Wonder Ballroom. I'm wearing it right now. I forget who else was playing, at the moment. I know I was a fan of them, but A Story of Rats was the one that really caught my attention during the night. I fell in love with the sound as soon as it was played. Not friends, just a fan, and I think I always will be.
