i was speaking more in general..i don't think i've ever found a djent band where people weren't complaining about vocals, it's getting annoying -.- don't get me wrong, i'm perfectly fine with instrumental songs...but the vocals add a little extra something imo (unless they are done by someone who doesn't really fit into a certain band, in that case instrumental is indeed better). in the case of this band, the vocals are pretty awesome imo.

I was careful not to specifically complain about the vocals - I just think they add nothing to the already amazing instrumentals in each track. Take this for example... http://absentdistance.bandcamp.com/track/absent-distance-crystalline adding any sort of vocals over top of it would do very little to make it any better, imo.

the amount of complaints about the vocals in djent bands is too damn high! Common Ghost Of The Lifelines is an incredible album and the vocals are great. hope to catch a live show one day.

My goodness, this album is awesome. So catchy. I thought twelve foot ninja was sweet. This is just.. I can't even. This is going to be spinning for a long time.
