Ajattara is an atmospheric black/death/doom metal band from Finland. The band got its name from the Ajattara (or Ajatar) of Finnish mythology, which is an evil forest spirit. Ajattara uses heavy guitar sounds and synthesizers to create a grim atmosphere.
Ruoja is actually Pasi Koskinen, ex-singer of Amorphis and singer of Shape of Despair, singer/guitarist of To Separate the Flesh from the Bones and ex-singer/guitarist of St.Mucus .
