Ich finde auch, dass er eine wunderbare Stimme hat. Das Konzert, welches ich sah, war in Bad Karlshafen in einer Weinstube. Es war so eine familiäre, heimelige Stimmung. Außerdem war noch Hannes Wader dort als Zuschauer, er sang dann spontan mit ihm gemeinsam einen Refrain auf deutsch. Ich finde solche Konzerte schöner als mit 70000 in einem Stadion zu sein und man sieht den Künstler dann auf einer Leinwand. Zu Allan Taylor würde ich jederzeit wieder gehen. Er ist auisgesprochen sympathisch und sehr volksnah.

Seine Stimme zieht mich immer wieder in den Bann und ich könnte ihm stundenlang lauschen. Leider ist es schon länger her wo ich ihn live gesehen habe. Das letzte mal war im Oion in Hamburg, einer kleinen Kneipe. Es war ein wunderbares intimes Konzert. Allan Taylor ist ein Erlebnis...

I have followed Allan for thirtysome years. He is a brilliant songwriter and a jolly decent bloke. I bought one of his guitars a couple of years ago. It is a superb instrument which was hand built by York-based Master Luthier, Ralph Bown. Allan bought it as a present to himself for his 50th birthday. He wrote a number of songs on it, including Wheel of Fortune and Brighton Beach. Long may he continue.
