Andrey Makarov’s music is vivid as sky above Kronstadt, fresh as a sea wave and sad as autumn rain. It is like a tune from a good old movie you enjoy listening on and on without trying to link it to any particular style or genre. Or the other way round, because no two minds think alike. Here is one of the opinions: having gathered different styles, the composer had created his own one, that is different from anything else and, probably, alien in our times.
