Preziosestelle edits wikis here on Last.fm fairly regularly, but not with the necessary care. Someone’s clearly targeted her, creating sockpuppet accounts to stalk her, revert her edits, and then getting banned shortly after.

Well, it's funny. I remember when Tiësto went full on pop/crap in 2009 with "Kaleidoscope" and then all the Armin fans (from the good ol' Armin x Tiësto keyboard war) rejoiced as if they had finally won the battle - Armin was the only one still carrying the trance flag and besides producing commercial stuff he hadn't gone clown. Less than a decade later, and there we were, Armin was doing the same thing as Tiësto. By that time, sadly or not, everyone from the Armin x Tiësto war had already moved on and Armin's move was nowhere near as bashed as Tiësto's back then. Look at his Top 10 most scrobbled tracks - geez that's a disgrace.

For those wondering how the hell he releases so many songs a year, he has so many ghost producers... Just like every other big names in the industry. I agree, most of the tracks are pretty forgeteable but still makes some gems like the most recent one, Viva l'Opera with Natalie Gioia is a fucking masterpiece.

Armin has been releasing too much music in recent years, I can’t keep up with how much he pushes out. Some of the music is ok, some not so good, but either way very forgettable because so much comes out! He only released an album two weeks ago and here we are today with another new tune. It’s insane!

Not too sure, I'm looking at AvB's top 10 most played songs and all I see is disgrace. All the big names are a big joke atm to be honest and of those you mentioned I'd say only PvD is still alright

Somehow "Feel Again Part 1" feels like fire to me. I was a pure trance gatekeeper ten years ago, so it feels strange.

Even John Askew and RAM haven't produced any of their last songs. Everyone's using ghost producers now, and it actually reduced my interest in electronic music almost to no interest at all. People who previously were my heroes and inspiration lose my respect as soon, as I met people who are deep in the club music industry and know all the shady details about "producers".

My Childhood hero. The dreamed 1000 episode has arrived, it's amazing to have participated in this entire trajectory. I can only be grateful that I got to know trance through him. As most old fans I prefer his old style (the imagine/mirage era was unbelievable). I believe that for his best it is necessary to explore other genres. But I really hope that someday Armin will make a fully trance album. I believe it's possible after hearing 'mask' and it doesn't hurt to dream haha

Right now, he's not even close to Ferry Corsten in being the definition of trance. Armin is still unable to compose any track by himself, and still uses co-producers for this.

Yeah, "Balance" has a variety of genres of almost whole "light electro" spectrum, but lacks in some AvB soul. It's not bad album at all, but disappointing knowing it's from someone who made "76" or "Mirage". But of course I will give it some spins this autumn, we will see how it fits this years' atmosphere

And do you say van Buuren wasn't even involved in his own album? (irony) / Almost all albums except first two includes de Goeij featuring, so if you're assuming "de Goeij = not AvB", then Armin made only two albums, and we still wait for him releasing anything since 2005. I referred to AvB as an act, not a person, that's obvious.

"Armin van Buuren" is a BRAND right now, not a producer. ...but in my opinion, without this brand and the second hour of ASOT every week, the popularity of trance music would now be in the grave.

Finally. A good commercial track. "Lonely For You" is still better than "Blah Blah Blah", "United" and other pseudo psytrance shit. This is the right commercial face of Armin I want to see and listen.
