British alt-rock outfit Beady Eye formed in 2010 after the fallout from a pre-festival altercation between Oasis siblings Liam and Noel Gallagher. After Noel announced his departure, Liam, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Chris Sharrock booked studio time with producer Steve Lillywhite to begin work on a new album, with plans to release the first single under the new moniker in October 2010.
The band released their debut single 'Bring the Light' on the 10th November 2010 as a free digital download and on limited 7" vinyl. They are due to release a full studio album in 2011, which will be produced by Steve Lillywhite.
