I bought this album twice, as the first copy was stolen. I couldn't do without the moments of brilliance, despite the weaker points. I saw billy when he toured for this, which was great. I can't say the same for "The Smashing Pumpkins" since then. Only a decent song here and there. *Sigh*

"Half of the songs are utterly amazing, the other half is pretty much forgettable. Good thing that the good half more than makes up for the bad one." [2] some outstanding tracks, and some ordinary ones. pity they weren't all outstanding!! but it was still well worth the buy. BC shows that he won't be pigeonholed, and i love it!

Sehr zukunftsorientiert. Wenn man an die 90er zurückdenkt (Pumpkins), ein meilenweiter Sprung . Alles was blieb sind (etwas) Melancholie, Gewicht und seine Stimme. Dieses Album bleibt jedoch oft im dunkeln und wird sehr gerne unterschätzt. > Die Qualität stimmt nämlich. ;)

If you loved the direction he took on Adore and the more atmospheric parts of Machina I&II, you'll love this album. If not, stay away. Personally, I think this is great and as good as anything he did with the Pumpkins.
