When I first got this album I absolutely hated it, but it's grown on me over the years. Now I'd say I'm in the "Hey, this isn't that bad" stage. Maybe in five years I'll be in the "This is the GREATEST X-MAS ALBUM EVER!!!!" stage...maybe.

Indeed. And, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is quite spirited and not as melancholy as the rest of the album.

Apart from "Digital Ash...", this is the only Bright Eyes album I can palate. Actually maybe I like it more than "Digital Ash...". :)
