its not about winning or what. its about submitting your 'interest wrongly. 1st.. its about picture, although that not a major thing (that's why i suggest people from malaysia labeled their artist this way, ...but the staff is just too ignorant to make this tagged thing some sort of official/ give a suggestion wheres possible). say.. so if you upload .au butterfigers at .my butterfingers .. your pic can be reported as spam. but picture is not the only thing. yes i have to agree, australia is a very big place, you can easily get up to 50 listener compared to the malaysian one. but can you see the top listener this week? its coming from .my... no matter how many time he diligently scrobble his butterfingers.. it counted as one (1) person/ play/ listener of the tracks. and all these scrobble assumingly goes to australia butterfingers. anyway but for you to win, congratulation. for malaysian, keep your hard head on and keep scrobbling this .. YEA like that

Coming from someone who listens to quite few artists who have name conflicts on last.fm, the consensus seems to be that whoever has the most listens/dominates the chart gets to have the picture. It sucks for the other band, but that's just the way shit goes. In this case, Australian Butterfingers has to win.

If u noticed, theres a very little discussion going on. all i see here now is bickering stuff. leave this group to clueeless people who like their charts to be fuck up. personally, all u guys do here is arguing, and theres actually zero discussion on artist activity going on, what song is their best etc.. i also think theres nothing that last.fm staff can do bout this matter cuz they just dont know how to sort this thing out. so yea. butterfingers australia and butterfingers malaysia is the only way to go. and clearly..no matter how 'right' you put your tag afterwards, they're still will be people who still tag theirs tis way, so just leave them.. i'd say. those guys like combination, should i say? so leave them as they are

For Australian butterfingers fan, please tag your artist as Butterfingers Australia. Malaysian Butterfingers deserve the Butterfingers name bcoz they was formed in 1991 rather than the australian butterfingers that was formed in 2003 or something. Respect the senior. Lol..

the latter of your comments is not very nice lovemedestroyer ;) malaysian people are actually pretty nice. i know, i work for some of them and know them very well. most of them are a lot better off then us, when it comes to banging sticks and being backwards, we're the backwards lot! as with all bands that share last fm pages, it shouldnt get personal about which one is better. who cares so long as you like the music.

Both the bands are great The Australian one for Hip Hop and the Malaysian one for Alternative Rock. I was in KL awhile back and got to see them perform, fucking great band.
