@mweave5707, there are no knwon recordings by Henry Sloan, much like there are no recordings by the pair of guitarists that taught Skip James. But the recordings of both are so good I feel blessed just being able to hear them.

Have a look at the 2nd version of 'Shake It and Break It', which was called 'Hang It On The Wall', and was his last recorded song I think before his death. Maybe a bit ragged around the edges but still a great song.

It's a crime that "Shake It and Break It" isn't even in the top 15. That's the most amazing sound I ever heard.

In reply to pseudonym340, he was christened Charlie, but many people that he knew used the ey form, which is also the spelling on his headstone, spelt Charley.
