i don't know about the rest of you, but this is directed @roadie....I'm a headbanger....what the fuck makes you think I'm going to take the time to research the roots or history or even what any of my favorite bands stand for? I don't care about that shit. I blast the music because I think it fucking rocks, not because they were "pioneering melodic metal." Just the same as I blast Gorgoroth and Emperor because they're salaciously evil and threaten to blow my speakers...not because of the preferences of any of the band members. If I cared enough to research any of the bands I listen to, I'd live quite a boring life. \m/
