Christ. is awesome but he's done basically nothing to promote himself or his music in years. His former label, Benbecula, is defunct, all his records are out of print, and nothing is available to stream.

I don't understand why he's not more popular/well-known. Honestly I'm surprised he wasn't picked up by Warp - he's as good as or better than most of their artists.

I agree, he needs to be picked up by Warp, but it's pretty obvious why he isn't more popular. Can't easily stream his music like his contemporaries. And his name is sorta weird to the uninitiated. First impressions with this guy aren't quite as good as the other IDM artists out there sadly.

I figured the lack of streaming was a consequence of not being on a bigger/better label. At any rate I bought his complete discography on Bandcamp; now I’m trying to spread the word.

Nah, Christ. isn't better than BoC. IMO he IS one of the few artists that even approaches their level though.
