A discografia dela é TÃO maravilhosa, sucesso comercial simplesmente se tornou algo secundário pra Cyndi depois do terceiro álbum. Quem acha que faltaram "produtores melhores" não faz ideia do que está falando.

This woman deserved better. Her debut album was unbelievable and she gave some good songs like 'True Colors' and 'I Drove All Night' after that. However I think her music went in the wrong direction, and she never found great producers so her career was never as big as other's. It's sad tbh, she could've been way more, she's very known and remembered around the world just from a couple of songs, imagine if she had gotten more hits...

Well, just because Cyndi's later works were less popular doesn't mean they were of any less quality. For me, her Sisters of Avalon was my favorite album produced but it is not a chart breaker. I think Cyndi was looking to expand her horizons into other genres of music (jazz, Broadway, blues, etc.) which speaks volumes about her artistic versatility and incredible talent.

I agree, her pop music career didn't maintain the heights she hit in the 80's. But she is just an Oscar away from an EGOT...which is AMAZING. Only a very exclusive few have earned an Emmy, Grammy & Tony. And even if she doesn't get that Oscar, it's been one helluva career.
