Why is this being auto-corrected? Shouldn't this be: The Desperate Bicycles? Out of the band's complete discography only one single is missing the "The". So... ???

"Don't Back The Front" is so fantastic! I love how you can hear the 14 year-old drummer doing the back-up vocals. Such a great, important band .... but I like their organ-driven stuff better. Everything's great, though!

Yep, New Cross in SE London. I know because I lived on the same road. Earlanger Road. I even remember collecting cardborad egg cartons for the soundproofing in the basement studio. Think I've got an album hidden away somewhere. I know that they were played on Radio 1 by John Peel, at least once anyway.
