Not that I'm in any position to criticize Elton John, but I can't for the life of me imagine why he'd want to re-record this. This Mick Ronson version is just so good.
This is dirtier, harder edged, and therefore way better then the version most people hear from their speakers. How they ever didn't use this when it came time for the Madman album is beyond me.
