I remember the first time I heard this intro when it first came out. It was so perfect! Exactly what I imagined this album would be after hearing "Sadeness" as the first single!

In my opinion, the first Enigma release was intended to be listened to straight through, more along the lines of a concept album, rather than highlighting single tracks. This to me serves as the introduction to the whole listening experience, and as they revisit certain musical phrases throughout the album, it creates an entire ambient listening atmosphere for about 45 minutes worth of bliss!
