i miss them. i've listened to a crapton of 80s/synthpop throwback shit and i honestly feel like there is nothing quite like what they were doing on the latter albums. it sounds like ordinary neon synthpop at first but then you get these weird, cryptic, almost godlike vocals howling against it, this vortex-like surreal atmosphere, and this insistent feeling of suspense/exisential dread.. it's hard to explain and i wish their music got more love/attention to bring more chance of them making more of this weird compelling stuff
