Still missing the original vocalist (Daniel Flay?), while I did like volcanoes, haven't really dug anything them by them since. Wish them all the best though.

Underrated band!

Love these guys, still not sure on the vocalist change. Nonetheless, they put on a good show the other week!

Oh man, the guy who sounds more or less identical? can't wait. I realise how bitter it sounds, but I really wish they'd stuck with Daniel Flay. Listening to their stuff with him earlier and the difference is incredible

Yeah, it arrived for me too. I preferred the original without JP myself, as good as his voice is. Seems a bit forced. Still, can't complain about the album at all!

double post but who gives a shit. Album is the absolute don! Shivering and Dazed sounds absolutely massive and JP Reid on The Alibi is fucking awesome

This album's gonna be my shit. I forget what's to be on it but Conflict! Conflict!, Alibi, Volcanoes, The Colour, Broken Bones, Feather in a Hurricane are all absolute tunes.

Yeah I am Jonzo, thanks for the kind words! We should have some album news very soon, and we've started writing new music for after that too.. It sucks that it's taken so long to get everything sorted but we wanted to do things properely.. Also we have no money! But soon.. good things are coming

Can't wait to hear the album, really looking forward to hearing guest vocals from JP Reid and Colin from Hundred Reasons. I can tell this album will be my favourite of 2012!

Awesome, the bassist's previous band (Spectrum 7) were pretty decent, so hopefully he can fill the void that Jon has left. I'm hoping that the forthcoming album isn't just going to be the demos that we've all already heard, even though they are fantastic, I'd really like to hear some fresh stuff.

They have a new bassist. And he says he's "really looking forward to the forthcoming album". At least that means that we'll probs get summit.

i won't lie, the fact that FtA have now been together for about 4 years without putting out an album and have already lost two members does not look good...

Finally got my hands on the EP. I've watched the Waking Up video a few times, but hearing the EP as a whole has really made me fall in love with the lead track. Seriously can't wait for the album now!

These guys were awesome in brighton last night!

I'm beginning to really get into FTA, or at least what they've released. They have a distinctive sound that's unlike any of their previous bands, whilst incorporating the best elements of them. I did prefer Dan as a vocalist, but Chris is not doing a bad job at all. Waking Up, Feather in a Hurricane (and virtually all else they've released) suggest the debut will be quality.

cracking news coming from them today apparently, I'm all giddy, I can barely contain myself.

I must say I'm really warming up to All The Things You Hold On To. The 'oh-oh-oh-oh' ending sounds a bit lostprophet-ish, but in a good way, an anthem-way.

Does anyone else agree that this does have a Hundred Reasons-feeling to it? Not saying that as a bad thing.

Yes, jelgerw, I have to agree with you now that I've listened to their songs more closely for a second time. FTA do sound more generic rock/radio friendly than Reuben ever did. It's still a pretty cool sound, though.

^^^ And I want to hear them unlistenable songs, especially the acoustic one! ^^^
