This band has some cool tracks. 'We Are the Ones Who Rule the World' is probably my favorite of them.

The newer albums are kinda meh, not very much inspired, seems to be done in a "cookie-cutter" method a bit. But "Empire of dark salvation" is legit one of the best (goth) metal albums ever. Gothic electronic anthems is their 2nd best, still got that unique touch. After it became more and more homogenised with every album, or so it seems to me. "the holy one" is a very powerful song to those who understand it.

If they chose a bit less edgy/cringy name for the band, they'd be viewed much more seriously.

Comalies is a great album, but comparing them is pointless. What about Icon of Coil then? This Mortal Coil?

I don't see one song as awesome as the title track to Utopia on the new album, however, the album is way better overall than Utopia. I easily think half the new album is fantastic, can't say that for Utopia which only has a few good songs.

Both got some bangers. Poser kids will shit on both of those bands. I was that kid myself before "only bestial black metal, everything else is gay!" lol... silly kids
