New album might get a few spins to get used to, but it is their best. All killer no filler!

I really love the new album. It has a timeless quality to it and this definitely is an album I will keep returning to. Took a few spins to fully appreciate it though.

I've never understood the hatred of Dreamcrash *shrug* I think it has some great gems - Taste the Void, New Hip Moon, Crying Wolves, Crisis, No Survival. Anyway! New song on Friday! I'm PSYCHED.

The new live album is amazing, so are the new two songs. I loved how they played many Beastmilk songs, but why no Dreamcrash stuff? Although not nearly as good as Motherblood, some songs are wonderful

I managed to catch them live at Brutal assault (2 times!) and holy shit, they are truly bombastic live. Go see them live if you have the chance, don't think about it twice.

Enjoyed their performance at Tuska, I need to check out the studio recordings too.

For anyone who's interested, there's finally some bands picking up from where Beastmilk/Motherblood left: Kuudes Silmä, Rope Sect, Hello Black Hole. None of them are copycats, but they are similar in many ways.

Motherblood feels like the best of both worlds: the infectiousness of Climax and the broader dynamics of Dreamcrash.

Motherblood is so much better than the previous album.

Motherblood is the best album of 2017, and a true sucessor of Climax. Grave Pleasures is best band around now.

all in all a very very disappointing album. even after more than 10 rounds it doesn't keep up with the Beastmilk stuff. hope the next album is going to be a real killer

Yep, definately a grower. Was a bit disappointed after the first two rounds and after getting addicted to Beastmilk's "Climax" aforehand, but now "Dreamcrash" holds just as much pleasure and feels like a natural development in Beastmilk's sound.

Goatspeed's departure was a massive blow it seems.He was the prime songwriter and it's pretty evident here.

I feel as though i would enjoy these guys more if the production was better, sometimes they sound like a speaker blew out because of the invisible bass, but for some reason it's not like that 100% of the time?

Haven't listened to Climax in a while, but hearing Dreamcrash made me feel like I've jumped back into the greatness of Beastmilk. I probably should compare, but for now, they're both quality post-punk.

I agree that the production is a little poor, not quite sure what it is though. In any case I'm loving it Dreamcrash so far!

Dreamcrash is really quite inconsistent. There are some great, catchy tracks like Crying Wolves, Futureshock and Taste the Void but the rest is quite forgettable. I still stand with my previous statement, though. It's still a much better album than it is being perceived as.

Wow this was a big let down. Didn't enjoy Dreamcrash at all, whether you think of it as Beastmilk's second album or not. Oh well, I guess Climax will go down in history as one of those great one-off albums from a band who broke up too soon.

I'm liking this. I'm glad I didn't go in with the expectation of it being anything like Beastmilk. It's totally different even if not as appealing at first.

Dreamcrash is very good, just don't expect this to be Beastmilk because it isn't.

pretty disappointed in this. I think the songs are written great its jut the sound, and this is because of Tom Dalgety's production. Like others said its like Beastmilk lite and i'm not digging the new direction in sound at all.

I like them. They sound less goth and more punk than Beastmilk. That's neither good nor bad, different. Counting the days to see them live.

This sounds like Beastmilk Lite. Right now I am rather underwhelmed. I hope Goatspeed starts a new project in the old vein.
