Flowerscum
I remember the first time I listened to this. My grandpa (who was like my father really) passed away a week before, so I hated everything about existence. Even going for a regular walk in the morning felt like a punishment. Then a friend recommended me this album. I put on my headphones, I warmed up for my routine and started walking through my neighborhood. The first flashes of the daylight came through the trees and thin layers of fog. All my skin was suddenly radiant with life and a I felt a beautiful warmth. Everything happened as the album progressed. When ‘Alien Observer’ started I really was having a religious experience. I felt grateful, I felt capable, I felt human.

One thing I love about ambient albums is how they usually always have a calming nature to them that feels so pleasant to listen to.

Her best album by far. It walks on a very thin line between melancholy and relaxation, being introspective at the same time it is escapist.
