How is it that with such a relatively small population, Scotland contributes so many treasures to rock music? Seriously, I looked it up: 5.4 million people, about the same as South Carolina or the greater Miami metro area. Is it the dreary weather? Anyway, Stina Tweeddale - great Scottish name there - stands out as an example. It's a travesty that Honeyblood isn't better known stateside, but those new to the band are in for a rare treat. This is what rock music was supposed to sound like.

Saw these guys live! Talked to Stina briefly about Camera Obscura and the night was a blast. Had a totally rad time that night, singing along to almost all of their songs. Would love to see them again!
