Did video in its current form exist yet - no - the video cam was the size of a television set!!! Bass player, top notch, Al Abreau on soprano sax very talented musician - this was a very soulful Hugh and this is perfect as not only was Hugh concerned with the ravages of apartheit in South Africa, the Vietnam war landscape included both of my two brothers -one after the other. I and I wish Al could hear this because after his war wounds, he definitely needed the healing qualities imbued within this tune - I prepared myself to go to Nam with Hugh Masekela music which is why I love his work so much today. The war came to an end and my days in gallant combat faded away -- this music brings back for me though, the weight of the times. Hugh Masekela was perfect for my generation!
