There's a noticeable difference in the songs from the other albums; they seem to use real strings.

The renditions of Wide Angle songs sound very fake and lifeless, as if they just fed the songs' MIDIs into a soundfont. I'm kind of disappointed because Hybrid is a big act, so these low quality remixes were unexpected.
