IVV and VC are both great artists and so is Wrath of the Weak, I enjoy all three of them although I would say that VC influenced both IVV and wrath. Shit, that doesn't make sense. I'm not saying anyone is better, it's logical to compare such bands since they play in very similar way but.... wait what was my point again?

From what i've heard of Wrath of the Weak, I didn't think they were anything like IVV. I'll have a better listen next time ... I have too many fucking albums I need to listen to properly.

yeah I was able to get the downloads off the VC group on here someone posted links. Its a very velvet cacoon-esque stunt. But the music is definitely great!

Well, the band seem to have disappeared off the face of the planet ... I checked the official site but, 'the joke is on us' it would seem. Quite disappointing really. This guy seems to come and go without any fucking notice. Shame, really. I, based on the one demo I have, like IVV more than Velvet Cacoon! God damn it.

similarities are minimal, its quite different actually. totally different production and i don't think that the riffs are that similar

+ i have nightshade sessions, too. i like that allure has gotten away from the vc worship a bit, looking forward to the album
